Should you leave those windows open?

With the warmer weather set to continue over the next few days, please be mindful of home and vehicle security.

Leaving doors and windows open when you are out can make you vulnerable to opportunist thieves – this includes vehicle windows.

A few simple steps can help keep you safe:

Ensure doors and windows are secured before leaving your property

Remove items from underneath windows to prevent easier access

Use window latches where available

Don’t leave valuables on show in your vehicle

Even the smallest of windows left open could mean the difference. Take that moment to secure your property.
